Below is the draft itinerary:

Day 1 - Sunday August 30^th - Australia

Depart Australia via Qantas on an overnight flight to Japan.

Day 2 - Monday August 31^st - Tokyo

	Arrive at Narita international Airport, coach to Edoya Hotel and check in to rooms.
	Walk to Ueno Park and do some ¥100 shopping, then walk to local shrine, then have dinner at Edoya Hotel.

Day 3 - Tuesday September 1^st - Tokyo/Yokohama

	Travel to Yokohama, visit Landmark tower, then China town for lunch, then visit Sengendai Primary School.
	Return to Hotel Edoya in Tokyo, and go on an afternoon walk to Akihabara - electronics district.
	Dinner at Edoya Hotel.

Day 4 - Wednesday September 2^nd - Tokyo

	Travel by train to Ghibli Museum.
	Return to hotel mid afternoon and walk to Ueno Market. Last minute 100 yen shop.
	Evening - pack bags(2 days clothing in backpack Suitcases sent to Kyoto by takyubin).
	Dinner at Edoya Hotel.

Day 5 - Thursday September 3^rd - Hakone

	Depart early to travel by train to Hakone and check in at Resorpia Hotel at Gora.
	Travel by cable car and ropeway to Owakudani where we will eat lunch in front of Mt Fuji.
	Travel by ropeway and pirate ship to the cedar avenue, then return to Gora by bus, and have dinner in our hotel.

Day 6 - Friday September 4^th - Hakone/Tokyo

	Pack bags, check out and leave bags at Gora hotel.
	We will continue to explore Hakone for the day, then bus back to Gora hotel to collect our bags and catch a train.
	Train to Odawara and Shinkansen to Kyoto.
	After checking in at Matsubaya Inn, we will have an evening walk to Kyoto Station where we will have dinner.

Day 7 - Saturday September 5^th - Kyoto

	In the morning, we will go to Toei Movie land, where many Samurai movies are still made today.
	In the afternoon, walk through Kyoto's shopping area, Teramachi Street and visit Kinkaku ji, (called the Golden Pavillion).

Day 8 - Sunday September 7^th - Kyoto/Nara

	This morning we will travel by train to Nara to visit Kofukuji and Todaiji temple.
	We will hand feed deer in Nara's famous 'deer park'.
	In evening, we will pack backpacks for travel tomorrow - suitcases will stay at Kyoto, backpacks to Miyajima.

Day 9 - Monday September 8^th - Kyoto/Hiroshima/Miyajima

	Early wake up and breakfast at our traditional Japanese Inn.
	Early Shinkansen to Hiroshima to visit the Sadako monument and Atomic bomb domb. We will all ring the piece bell.
	We will travel by Shinkansen and ferry to Miyajima where we will check in to our Inn.
	We will travel by bus and ropeway to the top of Mt Misen, where there are many monkeys in the forests.
	We will stay at a Japanese Inn in Miyajima, where we will have dinner.

Day 10 - Tuesday September 9^th - Miyajima/Kyoto

	Early wake up and breakfast at Mori no Yado, then walk around Miyajima village.
	Catch the ferry, then Shinkansen to return to Hatoya Zuihoukaku Inn in Kyoto.
	After dinner at local restaurant, evening show at Gion corner.

Day 11 - Wednesday September 10^th - Kyoto/Narita

Shinkansen to Tokyo, then Narita Express to Narita International Airport to board flight to Australia.

Day 12 - Thursday September 11^th - Australia

Arrive in Australia.
